🧑‍💻 What I'm Working On

đź“š What I've Worked On

  • Built the Growth, Content, & Product Marketing functions from 0 to 1 at thirdweb—leading 15+ product launches, PM’ing our website (& building some of it), owning all written content (blogs, guides, case studies, email, socials), heading up growth engineering projects, & more.
  • Broke into tech as a Growth Marketer at Mixpanel—working on SEO, PM'ing our website(s), & expanding our marketing efforts globally. Led & supported cross-functional projects across content, product marketing, CRO, ABM, community, & events.
  • Headed up a team of 6 & all things marketing at the NU Entrepreneurs Club, where we hosted 20+ events for 1,000+ budding student founders.
    • Highlight: Covid forced us to move our end-of-semester Demo Day online in the span of a week. We hit a record live audience of 600+ & got featured on Northeastern News.
  • Led marketing campaigns & content strategy for IDEA: NU's venture accelerator, which supported 450+ active ventures & had launched 80+ (raising $250M+ in external funding) at the time. Revived the Bright IDEAs podcast.
  • Did tons of work with & within early-stage startups. Met lots of awesome founders & investors through fellowships at Dorm Room Fund and Ripple Ventures.
  • Was part of a small-but-mighty Product team of 3 as a PM Intern at Reebok. My loyalty to the brand remains strong (it's everything I wear).
  • Grew a personal photography brand on IG. Got featured on some big pages.

🌟 What I Believe In

  • Urgency & agency over everything
  • Discipline > motivation
    • Momentum is underrated
      • Getting started is always the hardest part, maintaining momentum is easier afterwards
      • Tell yourself you’re gonna do the thing for just 2 minutes
        • Most of the time, you’ll find yourself in flow & continue doing the thing for longer
    • Whatever you're avoiding is what you should be doing
      • Realize when you’re procrastinating
      • Default to doing the thing you’re procrastinating on
    • Doing hard things can be painful in the moment but leads to long-term happiness
      • The aggregate of doing lots of hard things is a more meaningful & fulfilling life
  • Exploring your curiosity > "following your passion"
    • "Following your passion" wrongly assumes that we only have one purpose & calling in life
    • Trying things out & digging deeper into what interests you, builds passion
  • If you don’t cringe at how little you knew 6 months ago, you’re not learning/progressing fast enough
  • Ship & show the world
  • Smaller teams are better (from Nat Friedman who inspired this whole section)
    • Faster decisions, fewer meetings, more fun
  • Fast beats right
  • Being productive =
    • Spending your time intentionally, in a way that's aligned with your goals & life priorities
    • Being effective, not (just) efficient
    • Developing habits, systems, & processes—but not over-systemizing
      • Spending too much time finding the perfect system is just procrastination under the guise of being productive
      • Systems that are too rigid kill creativity
